Melatonin helps relieve daytime fatigue due to a lack of deep sleep.
Melatonin is a hormone naturally made by the body to induce sleep mode. A lack of melatonin can lead to insomnia, with symptoms such as difficulty falling asleep, lack of deep sleep, frequent awakenings or early awakening. Melatonin can correct an imbalanced sleep cycle and get you to sleep faster.
Melatonin is also very effective at fighting insomnia of other origins, such as jet lag and shift-work.
