Protein Digestive Aid helps digest proteins and assists absorption of nutrients. Betain (hydrochloric acid) helps break down protein. Pepsin predigests protein in the acidic environment of the stomach. This formula destroys harmful bacteria which may be ingested from food. It may also relieve asthma, allergies, and food sensitivities.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains:
Medicinal Ingredients: - Pepsin - 20 mg - Base of betaine hydrochloride - 325 mg
Non-medicinal Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, 0stearic acid, magnesium stearate.
Recommended Use
Take one to four tablets with a meal three times daily. Swallow tablets whole; do not chew or dissolve before swallowing.
Cautions
This product has come into contact with milk. If you have allergy, do not use this product. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, are taking anticoagulant agents or anti-inflammatory agents, or are having surgery, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner for use if you have cardiovascular disease. Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
