NOW® MCT Oil is a 100% pure formula which contains only USP pharmaceutical-grade MCT oil from vegetarian sources. MCT’s are saturated fat quickly metabolized by the liver. Their unique structure makes them an ideal source of energy, capable of utilizing stored fat, improving muscle energy, and increasing the body’s production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Some clinical studies have suggested that supplementing with medium chain triglycerides in place of other saturated fats may be helpful in maintaining a healthy body weight, and therefore, a more desirable physique. Each tablespoon typically provides 7.8 grams of caprylic acid and 6.2 grams of capric acid, at only 100 calories per serving. 

Recommended Use

Suggested use is 1 tablespoon, taken 1 to 3 times daily or NOW® MCT Oil can also be used in place of conventional oils in salad dressings, sauces, or cooking applications. It makes a perfect addition in smoothies, meal replacements, and pre/post workout protein drinks. Not recommended for use in frying due to low boiling point.
