Ghassoul (pronounced rassoul) is a natural mineral clay used for millennia by oriental women

• Ghassoul is particularly recommended for sensitive and allergic skin.

• This clay, very rich in silicon, magnesium, calcium and potassium, is extracted from the only known deposits in the world located in the Moroccan Middle Atlas near the city of Fez.

• In Morocco, Ghassoul is an integral part of the "hammam" ritual (damp heat bath) and is traditionally offered to young brides. Even today the Moroccan royal family reserves one of the many veins of the "Djebel-Ghassoul" for its personal consumption.

1) Unlike shampoos and soaps, Ghassoul contains no surfactant and gently cleanses by absorbing impurities and excess fat. This gentle wash respects the lipo-protective film of the skin and hair, it does not irritate the sebaceous glands.
